Morning all, early start Dublin bound.

Hopefully less eventful than yesterday when the youngest of our Dogs, Dino 3, escaped on to the road whilst chasing a cat only to be hit by a van. Fortunately a glancing blow so he has cuts and bruises but neither us nor the vet can find any more serious damage. He looks a bit sorry for himself and obviously is in pain but he should recover quickly, fingers crossed. The new gates have moved up the priority list it seems.

Oh, poor chap. Give him a scratch behind the ears and tell him to be more bloody careful in the future.

Morning, all, from a damp and rainy exotic east. Calls today at 7,30, 8, 9, 10, 10, 12 and 2. FFS.

Morning, all...first meeting of the day runs from 8:30a to 12:30p, and last starts at 6p with no defined end. At least it's also pouring rain. Hope Dino the Doggo is good; had that happen years ago to a year-old pup...he went to ground, and we couldn't find him despite searching low and high til the middle of the night. When I went to leave the house the next morning, the dog was sitting by my car and looked to be a bloody, matted mess. Put him in back, and drove straight to the vet fearing the worst. Got a call a few hours later that he had been meticulously checked over and x-rayed and there were no breaks or permanent injuries...so he was in the dog spa, having a bath and pamper...picked him up that afternoon and you would never have known anything happened.

Morning all, Dublin and a day of education. I hope I don't have the same 4 hour journey home as yesterday due to the only Motorway South of Dublin being closed for 5 hours and having to revert to the old "local" roads but at list the scenery was nice.

Morning all, got a very large and complex rope bridge to continue making today, hopefully complete too. Off for an evening kayaking on the Crouch later if I’m lucky.

Morning, all. Today I shall be trying to maintain a sense of humour and decorum while all around me madness ensues. The cats are unleashed, the fish must be juggled and work must be done. I shall also trundle over to my tame main dealer for a new battery of the correct proportions (they made me nice price - same as EuroCarParts, after some to and fro) and see if they have a DB12 or a newnew Vantage that need to be looked at.

Not feeling great, started to come down with something on Sunday and it’s got progressively worse, temperature- cough - sore throat blah blah
a tad more than man flu.

Not fair to inflict it on colleagues so have come to rest up at home.

On the plus side I slept a full 10 hours last night !
